I have been seeing this girl for a few weeks, but we are not serious just casually dating/hanging out. A few days ago she invited me to go see a film with her, and it was "that" film; you know the one, "fifty shades of grey" well I wasn't really interested in seeing it with her, so tonight she is going to see it with 2 of her single friends. Myself and her went out last night for food and drinks and as we aren't exclusive or anything, she has decided to go see the film.

Is this is a bit strange? I would have thought her 2 single friends (not her) would want to go party or to bar or something. I think I may meet up with her later, or she might just hang out with her friends, I don't mind either way as today isn't really a big deal to either of us.

Nothing strange to me about this at all. They didn't exactly make that movie for the male audience.

Not really. As I fail to see how relationship status effects what movies someone is interested in. A few single, least I think, women on the board said they were planning to see it.

She asked you and you declined. She wants to see it so she is going with some friends. Nothing strange about this at all.

Are the two single friends girls? Are you jealous? I don't understand the conflict. She apparently wants to see the movie, and going alone probably would be a bit weird.

It doesn't sound like you are attracted to her so why do you care?

Yeah I'm not seeing the weirdness......

Why do people try to find conflict where there is no conflict?

Talk about an easy place to pick up women tonight...

Just stand outside your local movie theatre and let the magic happen.

Women go to the movies with friends all the time. 10 of us went to see Magic Mike. It was a silly goof night.

Don't overthink this.
