Belly Button Piercings
What are your thoughts on belly button piercings?
I think they look cute on a female body and I actually really like them.

Well, since some people aren't embarrassed about their bodies, I'll make them analogous to thongs. They can be a blessing or a eye-wrenching disaster.

I could take it or leave it. When I see one from a distance it sometimes looks like something that's not supposed to be there. When they became popular about ten years ago, everyone ran out and got one, that's why I didn't. To each is own, you can always get it and then let it close up later if you change your mind.

Well......I agree with the pp on this...it can look very cute and sexy....or look like a trainwreck.
I have one myself, and I can say, it looks pretty good (I am blessed with a flat stomach), but have seen girls, which ...well....let's just say shouldn't have one....period.

It doesn't look good, when one has excessive skin flaps hanging down, a "pot belly" and strech marks.....drawing attention to a "problem area".

But then, they shouldn't be the ones walking around with mid baring shirts and blouses either.
But, hey....I don't have to wear it, and I can always look the other way.
Just my take on things.....

Well, for my own tastes in women, I don't care much for any of this type of body-jewelry stuff. But, as has already been said, to each their own.

My wife has one. I honestly don't care if she has one or not. Piercings are ok. I just don't like the gross ones like through the nose, tongue, eye brow, and genitals.
I'm ok with ear and belly button. But no more than one peircing per ear and definitly not those big hoop things that are growing in popularity.

Bellybutton jewelry is prettier than bellybutton lint, but not as much fun to remove.
