I'm a little older and the guy I was dating had only occasional custody and ours was an LDR. It worked, for a time, but that was unrelated to him having a son. It also made a difference that the son was in high school. I think most divorced dads have somewhat more free time (depending on the custody arrangement) and are less "bound up" to their children than divorced moms are. But they still have that attachment to a degree. You'll have to see for yourself if they can fit you into their life and that you can live with their limitations, including whether you or they want (more) kids.

Nope never. Have done it and would rather have surgery than do it. The drama was horrible and so ward the fact the men were broke. If I married them I might end up paying their child support. Yuck.

I have plenty of hobbies. In fact I can pay for some because I'm not helping a man support his children and baby mama.

I don'[t know how old you are/how long you've been single/how attractive you are/what other assets you bring to the table.

I'm 47, have two teens, and I cannot afford to be picky. If the guy is right for ME, we'll be able to work with what we've got. I will NOT get married or co-habitate with any man until my oldest has left the nest (3.5 years from now) and I would hesitate if his kids are still at home. Divorce is hard enough on kids without having to deal with a new blended family. Step parenting is hard, but I wouldn't let it stop me from a good relationship.

Nobody holds a gun to your head and forces you to date someone you don't want to. You are completely obsessed with denigrating people that you never need to have a relationship with.
