Men and Women both are online for many different reasons but I am going to assume you are talking about married men who are looking for "companionship" or a cheap thrill. Geesh.......married men have found ways to communicate and get with other women long before the advent of the computer world. My first husband was the KING of cheating that is for sure and the excuses he used were beyond anything you would want to hear. Hell, he even cheated with his best friend's wife and I wasn't suppose to figure that one out. He and his older brother use to have these "contests" to see who could pick up and sleep with the ugliest woman. They would go to this dive of a bar in Northern Maine and the contest would begin. Its a wonder his private parts didn't fall off and a bigger wonder that I didn't die from some exotic STD that he picked up. So, computer or no computer, men who are prone to look for outside "adventure" will find it.

You are so right. Being online, in a bar, or at the ski resort....doesn't make a bit of difference. A relationship that started online is no different than any other. The behavior is the same...a cheat is a cheat.
