Women only: what are things men do that tell you they are hitting on you?

Going out of his way to compliment me. I'm only talking about people I don't know, like a random guy walking up to me in the market or one time one guy actually coming to my car window just to tell me he thought I was beautiful. Luckily he was just a nice guy because it freaked me out and could've been pretty scary.

From a guy, or at-least my perspective. It should be fairly easy to tell if i am hitting on another women. My conversations tend to inquire more about what their future plans for that day/week are, which tends to move things from a more informal/joking conversation that is normal with friends to a more interpersonal or intimate conversation about them and their future plans. I probably would smile a lot more during our conversations. Maybe the biggest give a way however is the more intimate, just slightly prolonged eye-contact that is not usually seen between just everyday acquaintances.

This is one of the most confident ways to go about approaching women you are interested in. None of that random "validation" or "buying her love" behavior like compliments and flowers do.

1. Approach.

2. Talk about a situation she is in, or the both of you, in order to get a topic.

3. Initiate small talk. E.G Why, when, where, etc...

4. Gauge interest, if she walks away or turns away then I would personally stop. I know most guys don't...

5. Ask for her name.

6. Say you have to go.

7. Get her number/on the spot date.

They ask a lot of questions and try to establish physical contact; i.e: rubs legs, hand touching, hugging etc.
