I am 21 and currently reside in Columbus Ohio. I will be graduating from nursing school shortly and want to get a job for veteran affairs. The VA hospitals are located in relatively every major city of each state . And I am having trouble deciding where to move to. I want a city with a lot to do and opportunities to meet people, especially single men . I used to live in a small town in SC. Dating was hard. The VA hospital is located in charleston SC and Columbia SC. Ive been to charleston it has a high female population and isn't as big of a city as I like . I thought about orlando because it's very busy and a business and travel hub...I've considered dallas and Denver but not really sure. It sounds silly to move somewhere to meet a man .. But it's more than that. I want a city I would be happy in , safe in, made decent money in, lots of recreational activities such as outdoor stuff like water sports boating golfing hiking biking .. But I also know location is important in terms of relationships and meeting people and I'm ready to start dating again .. Any suggestions ?

Columbus Ohio is not bad itself. I know the area well. Sometimes it is not the place but how you go about looking for what you want.

Good luck

I agree with above post, but, don't overlook other cities! Boston, MA, is packed with young people and a great city to live in. However, it's also quite expensive so I'm not sure if you're looking for something like that; but, if anything, you can move to its surrounding suburb towns like Somerville, Everett, or Malden. Hell, even Revere.

You're 21...any big city will have a lot of dating opportunities for you!

Just find a big city that meets your requirements. Assuming you're decently attractive you should have no problems meeting guys in any city, so you might as well live in a city that you enjoy!
