some guys are not going to make the first move based on the situation they are in. for instance, i dont make the first move on service people doing jobs for me, because they are there to do a job and make me happy. i will flirt with women in that position, but i wont ask them out because often times companies have a policy of not dating the customers. and while they dont strictly enforce that policy, they do at least try to discourage employees from making moves on the customers directly.

How subtle is subtle? How can I let him now I would like to get to know him better without sounding like 'Hey you and I ROOM right NOW' or like 'Yeaaah nice weather, bye'
remember that subtle for women, is complete and total deafness for men. we dont really do subtle very well, unless we have had some serious practice, like we grew house full of women.

a subtle way to get a mans attention is to hit him with a riding crop. does this place have a juice bar? if so the offer to buy him a smoothie or something similar. if not then suggest that are going to be at some place like bruggers bagels, or other deli style restaurant at a particular time, preferably on his day off, and see if he meets you there. if he does, then you are in, if not then when you see him next, ask why he didnt show up.

OP, make a move. The "what ifs" will drive you crazy if you don't. He may not even be aware of your interest.

Keep us posted and good luck!!
