It's not that I go there to see him. I used to live in his area and I go there to see my friends and go out with them (I live in a very boring town) and if I have time I'll swing by to see him and I'm looking to move back there within the next month. Your "relationship" sounds dysfunctional at best, more like totally screwed up.

The whole "FWB" arrangement is never a good idea due to misplaced priorities.

When my wife and I were your ages we were already married for 3 years, we met when I was 20 and she was 17 but still had the good sense to establish a meaningful relationship first.
