Problems
I was in a relationship for about 7 months with a man... Who had 4 children and he was twice my age. All my friends dissagreed with my relationship.. That pressure got to my head and i started to explode in a way... We broke up, because i couldnt take it anymore.. Everyone keeps accusing me of using this man, which is truely not right.
I loved the man.. I did very much and i still do which comes to my problem..
I miss him very much and we arent friends anymore because hes disspointed in me because of why i had to end it..
I just got in a new relationship with a younger man about a year old than me, Which is perfect... hes just like my ex just a younger verison..
I think that whole time when i was wit my ex, i just forgot about the reality and i knew deep inside that he was not the one for me. Yet i sit here and think about him.. Because im worried for him.. He was attached to me, and i felt bad telling him it was over because it hurts me dearly because normally i dont hurt men, they hurt me ....
So i dont even know what to say anymore.. i want are friendship back but i dont know how to go about it? because i dotn want him to think that im back for the love relationship... i just would like h im back as a friend/.
What do i do? what do i say?
help please

Well, if you ended it and you hurt him, then you have to give him time and space. He'll be OK, but he'll be better if you let him get over you.

I think that there's a good chance that you and your ex will never be friends. You broke up with him, you let him down, you hurt him emotionally. Move on and be better friends with your current boyfriend. And also by trying to go back and being just friends with your ex, you will hurt your chances for success with your new boyfriend.

In my experience it is a really really slippery place to want to go back to an ex-lover and "just be friends." Very dangerous terrirtory. Check your motives.

Very good advice. Hope you take it to heart. You have moved on . . . he has moved on . . . time to move forward and quit looking back. Dim mentioned "checking your motives" - you might need to take some time to figure out why you feel this need to get involved in this man's life again. Enjoy your present life!!!

You need to just forget this guy. Stop sitting around pining over him, daydreaming about him, wondring how he's doing, hoping you didn't hurt his feelings, etc. You need to move forward with your life. I'm sure he's moved on with his and he's not sitting around thinking about you and wondering what you're doing. He's too old for you anyway at twice your age!
