People say, "You guys wanna go to..."

"Dude" is perhaps another slang term.

Not sure why I would even bother building up my saying dude to a girl game to increase my chances of getting with a girl. Anything less than an obvious tease would turn my own self off to her.

However if a girl said something like "you know it girl" to me it wouldn't turn me off and I wouldn't think she was less interested in me.

I had a really, really close guy friend that everyone thought I was in a relationship with. He did eventually tell me he likes me and discussed a situation of us dating. He called me dude (and every one, including other girls he liked).

My younger cousin called his gf at the time (now wife) "bro".

I'm not a guy, but I just because a guy calls a girl "dude", I wouldn't necessarily think you've been friend zoned.

I think when it starts as pure innocent friendship and you get comfortable calling each other "dude" or whatever, it just stays at that. Although I have come across some guys who felt friend zoned when I called them "dude", which wasn't necessarily the case for me, it was just how I called everyone.

We are friends but I do like him a lot and he likes me too.

With women you're attracted to and see some future with, do you call them dude as if theure just another one of the guys, just a friend? This is a red flag to me, but I feel like I could be wrong. He does give me lots of attention and remembers things that are meaningful to me, he consoles me and he have heartfelt conversations, and also just comfortable with just talking about our day.
You are overthinking it. This is not a big deal. Dude.

Depends on the context, though. Some people call EVERYONE dude, or just say it a lot.

Like the Bud Light "dude" commercials.

Yup hon you are friend zoned.

This could change if you got another boyfriend, however.

Would someone explain how quoting a movie means you've been 'friend zoned'???? That make no bloody sense.
