I can't argue with that- young girls definitely chase after dudes, relentlessly, lol. But that is a very destructive & dangerous trait to still have in your 30s, 40s, etc.. !

Oh, really? When I asked my now-husband out at age 35 (he was 40), it didn't really play out in a destructive or dangerous way at all.

Women in their thirties and forties still pursue; it's just subtle. Horny teenagers are way more obvious, which is why it's so fun to watch.

You're all good, no worries. Your situation doesn't even fall anywhere near the same category of what I was implying by "adolescent behavior" in grown women!

I consider pursuing to be putting in effort to keep communication going once it's been established. I'm definitely not likely to do this when I have only low or moderate interest in someone.

Sometimes if they don't pick up on the subtle hints... You gotta hit em over the head. I have no qualms about approaching someone that I am attracted to.. Ya snooze ya lose.

I was approached in the store while shopping with my dog. She was cute but I turned her down because she has a daughter.

That's right. You don't pursue a job by giving them clues that you want to work there, right? You take action, approach them, and do your thing.

I've been approached when I am in Asia. Different story when I am in the USA.

Thats why a club was used in the caveman days to get a woman. No subtle hint, just BAM!!! Drag her by the hair to your cave. Now the Club is more of a meeting place, a little more civilized.

So that's why men go to "the club" to pick up women. It all makes sense now!
