That's why I used the qualifier in general. Believe it or not, there are people who sleep with each other without the need for some deep intellectual connection.

As for the rest, I can tell, as most women can by the time they get into their late 20s, never mind late 40s, when a man is just out to get laid. I have about as much respect for that as he apparently would for me, so I think I'll have that second glass of Prosecco and order dessert on his tab.
