Yes, it is.
Omg. Yes, it is.
Regardless of our momentary feeling of upset, we don't emotionally abandon our partners. Or children. Or pets. Or anyone we claim to love. That is the point. There aren't supposed to be strings.
That's because we are men
men marry sexy
women don't...they marry providers...if the husband isn't providing, fixing, improving, he loses a lot of sex appeal...if a sexy wife doesn't work, doesn't do crap around the house, the husband will still want to sex her...but if the husband doesn't perform OUTSIDE of the bedroom to HER satisfaction, there goes the sex
this isn't just me and my messed up marriage...this is crap I hear from coworkers, friends, family...
generally speaking of course there ARE women out there who don't marry a servant and reward him with their prized crotch...but they are a minority in my life
now tell me its all me, my friends, my family, coworkers at various jobs, most of the guys I talk to on forums lol...I must not be talking to the "right" people LMAO
As for the bolded above, men don't have a physical need for sex more than women do. That is a cop out. They need sex so they cheat? Bullcrap. Women and men both need physical affection (the amount will vary from person to person) but having sex with someone other than your spouse is an absolute choice.
We will have to agree to disagree on this part.
There is a reason why the percentage of men taking part in vices such as prostitution and pornography far out weigh the number women who take part in the same vices. If men and women had the same level of need for physical affection, the statistics would speak to it. (note: I'm not saying that women are void of this need) I also agree that for a men to have sex with someone other than your spouse is an absolute choice. However, in the case of sexless marriage the husband IS often having sex with someone other than the spouse.... it might not be with another person but it certainly could be with an imaginary fantasy with online pornography. This again speaks to the overwhelming percentage of porn targeting the male audience...
If there is a need (male one), someone will sell it.
If there is a physical need, the person will be driven to fulfill it.
If there is an emotional need, the person will be driven to fulfill it.
Its not far fetch to conclude that there is a need that is slanted toward the male drive.
Not one single "working girl" friend of mine past and present has ever run across a male prostitute with significant business with other women. The vast majority of their customer base are married men in their late mid to late 40s. Yes I understand that this is just my observation. But in my mind, further backs that the male drive is significantly stronger and higher than the typical female.

Of course not, women don't need to pay for it (women always have options they don'thave to pay for), they also have an incredible marketplace of vibrators (etc etc) that men don't have an equivalent of (oh there is fleshlight stuff, but it isnt the mainstream norm like a women's vibrator, there are precious few women I've met that don't have one or more).
Oh yes, HIS sex life. Because HER sex life doesn't mean crap.
where in my post did I say that
HER sex life is totally in HER control
men don't withhold it if she doesn't cook or clean...
HER sex life is not in jeapordy...assuming of course when she married her provider she picked someone she is somewhat sexually attracted to...
if she refuses to cook or clean or make babies or any other stereotypical thing "wives" do, he wont refuse his prized special purpose...she can still get laid

And as has been pointed out many, many, many times on this board, that is because women have a much greater risk by having sex with a one night stand, a prostitute, etc. It is not that the sexual/physical need is not there - it is that women take the risk factors into account and use their big brains, whereas men think with the little brain.

A woman can get laid whenever SHE wants
A man can get laid whenever SHE wants
doesn't matter what she looks like or weighs, she can find someone in a higher "sex ranking" to have sex with her...men can NOT...this is why women don't go to prostitutes...

You referred to it as HIS sex life. Not THEIR sex life - that would be silly!
And you are wrong, wrong, wrong as their are dozens of women on here who can attest to having sexless or very low sex marriages because of their husbands not wanting to have sex, refusing to have sex, or refusing to learn anything about satisfying her in bed.

Everything I've seen from dating in my 40s tells me that its super common for women to be frustrated that the dudes they meet and date don't have anywhere near the sex drives they have (or have trouble performing). A number of these women were married and now divorced, and probably the #1 or 2 complaint was their husbands rarely wanted to have sex.

That never stopped the prostitutes whose primary intention is money.
I didn't bring it up as a discussion point for risk vs rewards. I brought it up as an indication that women and men are often very different in their drive and need for sex. Again... agree to disagree.
Your point about prostitutes also doesn't address the fact that the overwhelming amount of porn available is specifically targeting men.. not women.
