Well, maybe for the top percent of dudes. I'm 43 yo and never been approached at a store. Rarely at all.

Never been approached by anyone.

We have never approached anyone else.

Maybe it is a different time now (I also lived in a more conservative area), but when I was in an open relationship the stigma and judgmental attitudes were unbearable. If you lived a lifestyle that was considered out-of-norm, you kept it quiet and discreet. I have family and friends who never knew and probably will never know... much less advertise my views to strangers. My partners and I/Us always kept it to ourselves even as we spend time among a larger group of friends.

I don't imagine it's very common to be approached by randoms while out shopping. The closest I came to being "approached" was when a friend brought up the idea of swapping.

Puts a whole new spin on going to the swap meet.

No, that's not the kind of sweet ride she had in mind... although to be honest I didn't know what she was getting at until she cut through the euphemisms and bull****, and just spelled it out.

Love how you claim "poor societal values" and then immediately encourage the OP to become a domineering jackass if he goes that route.

OP, so someone offered you something that you didn't want on OLD. That happens all the time to women. You can't blame them for trying. Personally, polyamory isn't for me, but that doesn't make it bad or wrong.
