TEnsions? really? maybe there is more to the story... A relationship considered taboo (interracial, cousins, relatives, step-siblings, gay? Expectations of an arranged marriage? Feuding families?

How would the parents know how much she appreciates you? Are they going to have her fill out a questionnaire, or take a lie-detector test? And if they've already met her, what's the problem? Did you deny to them that she was your gf? What did you introduce her as, your math tutor?
