I'm in agreement here.

I posted in another thread that when I got stood up, I took it personally. It is a disregard to the other to leave them hanging after setting a date. Even among friends, communication is the key. If they can't communicate with you or unwilling to, then its really not worth the effort on your end. Just be the courteous neighbor. It is really up to her to initiate making plans with you.. otherwise just assume she's not interested.

Don't ask anymore.

This could be, if you were timid about it, OP.

And she didn't know when the OP was coming over, so she could have been in the shower, or in the laundry room, or doing a billion other things.

Leave her a note on her door.Say "Hey I thought we were gonna go get coffee? If something came up, I understand. Let me know when you are free again?"

Ball is in her court. No reply after a few days-week.

She doesn't want you, move on.

That's a terrible idea. He's better off just leaving it and the ball is already in her court. She knows where he is and a note isn't going to change anything. It also states the obvious which is redundant.

If a woman is interested in spending time with a man, he will not need to plaster notes on her door reminding her about coffee.

I'd leave this one alone. Hey, I wasn't there, but I'd bet money she avoided you intentionally.

NEVER approach a cute neighbor unless you are getting definite signs that she likes you (and the feeling should be mutual, of course). Now you have the awkward encounters in the hall or at the mail box where you either (a) weird her out further by attempting to talk to her or (b) ignore each other completely. Don't feel bad, hey, at least you had the balls to go for it.

I'd leave her alone, no notes on the door or anything (she might complain to the super or whoever). It's up to her to either apologize or avoid you, or flash some other guy in your face to discourage any further attempts.
