i just dont know what to do, i dont know where to go to meet girls, i dont have a buddy system. its just me doing this and i have no resources.

First of all - change that attitude and be more POSITIVe. You didn't write much, but you already come off as very sad and depressed. Nobody wants a Debbie Downer.
Second - do your researches right - there ARE internet sources where you don't have to pay to find somebody. Try POF and I think Tinder is okay, too. I was signed on at many sites and never paid anything.

There are three big dating sites that are 100% free and I have been using them over 5 years: POF, datehookup and OKCupid. Also you CAN meet singles on facebook... There are discussion groups you can join just for singles and dating. Just type a keyword or phrase into the search box (where you would normally type in someone's name) like [your state] singles or dating... Then hit the "join group" button and wait for approval when you find one you like. It's a growing trend on FB now. But I haven't personally met anyone that way... the groups I'm in are national or worldwide and I haven't run across anyone close enough to date. I did find an Alabama Singles group for my state, but everyone is in the opposite end of the state from me there too. I also run ads on Craigslist and met a couple of women that way too.... made online friends with several more.
My own take is that if a man I've never heard of tries to friend me on FB, I will automatically delete the request. It's for my own safety and to protect my personal information from possible con artists or hackers.
What the hell do you put on FB? I can deal with you being socially retarded and not being friendly (you know, "I've never met a stranger"), but really now...

I thought everyone used OLD to get off of OLD? I guess you can steer OP towards a site like Meetup, but from what I had seen in my neck of the woods, most of the women aren't particularly active, to put it nicely.
