I am 21 and I walk to the nearby bus stop to wait for the bus to get me to work and on the same path there is a nearby school full of these middle school aged girls that are aged between 12-14 obviously way too young for me, they always come up to me and ask me for my number and I always respond telling them sorry, but I am too old for you and you can ask someone in your own school your age for a number, but they wont let me go so they keep begging me, they think I am handsome and good looking, I try my best to ignore them but they wont stop coming up to me and following me, pretty much harassing me for my number I guess, I don't know if I should talk to their school principal about them leaving the school premises by following me on my way to work to the bus stop nearby, it doesn't seem they care about their students. I just want to try my best to avoid these girls so I wont get in trouble and look like some pedophile or predator talking to girls ages 12-14. I try my best to avoid them but their is no shortcut to the nearest bus stop, I had to take a long walk to the next bus stop just to avoid them.
I know this seems like a silly, hilarious problem to some, but the OP has a legit complaint. And I can only imagine the replies if a 21-year-old woman were getting harassed like this by a group of preteen boys.
OP, they obviously aren't getting the message. And did you say they are FOLLOWING you?? They need to understand that this kind of trolling for dudes, if they happen to ask the WRONG one, will get them a LOT more trouble than they bargained for.
I think your instinct to go to the principal is a good one. But stop interacting with them AT ALL.
