It is perfectly OK for men to open doors for women IMO. I certainly do. I believe it shows good manners and class. I am also fine with women opening the door for men (and for that matter men for other men & women for other women).
Always, not even a question. I usually do that for most people, but I tend to go above and beyond for a date. Like her car door, I always open that for her.
I think people are getting a bit overly literal here on this thread.
A simple gesture is nice, I'm not saying guys should be whipping off their jackets to lay in the puddle so the pristine princess doesn't dane to have her shoes get wet.
All I'm saying is a few simple basic gestures is nice, that's it..... doesn't mean any more or any less... just a little bit extra here and there, no biggie.....
