I have heard many men say they like a big butt or a woman with big breasts. Obviously, bigger women tend to have these features, so why are so many men disgusted by a big woman? I am not talking morbidly obese but a woman with significant meat on their bones. Alot of men make fun of them and I don't get it. Most skinny women do not have features (some do but not a lot) .Plus most women put on significant weight after having a baby anyway so it would make more sense to like big girls.
On the other hand, I'm starting to figure out that it is a myth that all men like big breasts.
Not all men like big breasts or butts. Preferences vary. A lot of men prefer thin, athletic or average build, and that's okay. There are indeed women with these physiques who are also endowed in multiple areas.
Just a matter of preference. Just like I have a preference for chiseled features and facial symmetry.
Every man has their own subjective preferences. Some men like them thin, fit, chubby, really sturdy or all of the above.
I'm really attracted to women slightly overweight (5-10lbs) in the right spot/s (mostly in the rear). Its funny I say this, because most of the women I end up dating are thin and petite.
As far as big breasts, it does nothing for me in the sack. I could care less.
It's biological: A woman who is too thin or too fat is more likely to have fertility problems (lack of ovulation if too thin, polycystic ovarian syndrome if too fat). A nipped in waist and curvy hips signify fertility. Waist-to-hip ratio has been shown to be one of the biggest determinants of physical attraction when men look at women (which is a bummer for apple shapes, but this is why cardio and oblique training are marvelous inventions).
Big butts are probably a holdover from earlier stages of primate evolution, before we walked upright and before we had face-to-face sex. Big boobs, well, they are probably a later stage of evolution: Now that we walk upright and face each other, gotta send a signal somehow. Human breasts are a secondary sex characteristic meant to attract, or women would be flat unless they were lactating, like all the other mammals.
That's not to say people are justified in being mean to one another. Just that there are biological reasons for attraction and revulsion.
And it's not just men who feel it. I don't know too many women who like extremes in men's bodies, either. A big gut is a heart attack waiting to happen. Broad shoulders mean strength.
We have been socially conditioned to see certain things better than others. And we all strive for the best. Just noticing the female leads of TV shows standards are now changing. When I was younger the longer legs which once was supreme are now being supplanted by bigger buttocks and then long legs of yesteryear seem irrelevant.
