Continue to focus on your career, in 30 years when you retire from being a corporate slave, you can have a life again. Cheers!

My friends grandparents go bingo every week and are now doing a midweek one too as they met a nice couple.

Both couples are in their 70s

Read my name, it is there for a reason.

You are making excuses and are being weak. You are being weak because you don't want to try. You are feeling sorry for yourself.

So if this is the case, get off the internet and go back to work ALONE...

Or, be a man and take control of your life and stop making excuses. Friends or social, it doesn't matter. If you keep contact, you are friends. Stop trying to define events only to keep making excuses.

If someone doesn't know how to make friends, I don't think they are going to magically be able to do it when they are far older and even more out of practice.

I make new friends all the time. I'm in my 30's.

I'm usually very suspicious of people so making new friends is not reaslly possible. Besides, many people my age have established personal lives and don't give much importance to friendship anymore.

I'm not a slave, I'm doing my job and contributing to GDP.

I can't resist checking my phone and my email box...I go to the gym 3 times a week but don't feel very relaxed.

Are you us asking for permission to work the hours you do?

Also, how can you say you "can't make friends in your 30s" if you seem to have trouble making friends at any age?
