I just read a little about the consequences of defaulting on a student loan. Maybe you should too.

She's being utterly selfish. She needs to get help for her depression or your marriage will go down in flames.

Yes the situation is dire, try to keep up.
I have no idea what you mean by your first sentence. What legal drama?

And you are actually advocating breaking the law?

They aren't starving. He said she makes good money and buys stuff for the girls.

You're giving horrible advice and attacking other posters.

That is called CHILD ABUSE and it is ILLEGAL.
Read your own comments before commenting.

You have no credibility.

Good-bye.

No, but you are advocating that the wife not report her under the table income and apply for state aid.

And who says that they are not eating nutritious food now?

What exactly did you mean by "take advantage of" working under the table?

No one said that but you. More strawmen. If you want me to start rep-ing you with links, cut & pasted from
back posts, I can. Or message you over and over w/the same links. But let's allow the thread to continue instead

She needs to snap out of it and get a job. There are jobs in nursing that require little to no actual interactions with patients if that is her issue.
Personally it sounds like PPD to me. OP should worry about leaving her alone with the kids in the state of mind she seems to be in. Not saying she'll harm them, but she may get overwhelmed. Hopefully he has someone that can check in on her during the day when he's at work.
