Just my experience with these people is it feels like they're talking at you, not really listening when you speak, and not really there with you. You may think that's a typical relationship but it all made sense when I found out they were on adderall. Anybody here with experience with people on adderall or how to deal with spacey people like that?

No. Adderall is prescribed for people with ADD which is a mental health issue. Mental health disorders/dysfunction (*ADD IS a mental health issue) are dealbreakers for me when it comes to dating someone. Actually, its usually a dealbreaker for me on anyone who takes Rx drugs (exception being birth control). I like healthy people.

* Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) "ADHD isn't a disease or the result of damage to the brain but it a dysfunction that means the brain doesn't function in the way it should." This means - DEALBREAKER when it comes to dating this type of person.
Are you talking about people who abuse it recreationally, or people who are prescribed it for a disorder?
