Im 29 years old and I have used Aqua Velva in the past. It dried my skin too much so I stopped using it. Now, I use Nivea after-shave lotion. The smell is there but its more subtle.
Ive always used Old Spice high endurance original scent deodorant.. I picked this up from my grandfather lol when I was very young.
Other than that, I dont really do smells at all. The Old Spice is pretty much my permanent smell. The kids in middle school always ragged on me for using it... Now you cant find a bathroom without it, but now theres a lot more scents available instead of the 3 that i remember growing up.
Depends on whether she wants to be reminded of her dad when she's with you! ...yeah, that's a little creepy.
Yeah, it just smells a little too dad-like for my taste.

I still can't get the smell out of memory. He's got this thing where the cologne, deodorant, and aftershave have to match, and promised he'd stop wearing them after they were used up... but the problem is they don't use up at the same time, so he'd go out and buy another bottle of cologne to last until the deodorant was empty, but then the deodorant would finally be empty while he still had more the damn cologne left. Round and round we go, until after about 5 years of this horse**** I finally threw it all away while he was at work, and replaced it with some nice Calvin Klein. Yes, it's more expensive, but he uses so much less of it because it's a better product. I'm telling you right now, Jovan is my deal-breaker; if I ever see a bottle of that awful stuff in the house, I'm out of there.
Lmao, Mathlete! I had posted about this in the past, and I was just about to again. I looooved Jovan Musk for Men. Loved it. lol

That's thing: the deodorant smells really nice, but the cologne... Maybe it was the sheer amount he was using to anoint himself, but it was just such an assaulting scent.
what do ladies think of the smell of a man wearing one of those cheap aftershaves like Old Spice or Brut 33 ?
it's kind of a retro 1970's smell
does it depend on the man's age group? maybe if he's an older guy?
Personally even though I am really in to frangrances for myself I do not actually care about the brand a guy is wearing. If he smells good it will catch my attention. A lot of it is pheromones too. Most of men I have been in relationships with even if just out of the shower without colgne on they just smell good to me.
I'm turned off by bad smells. I don't care how much you paid for them.
