I didn't want to settle down until 40 at the earliest. Now I'm getting bored of these meaningless flings. I may consider settling down next year when I'm at a more stable place but that would only be an exclusive relationship. No way would I be ready for marriage or babies until at least a few more years.
To the OP I've heard the same with men and settling down. It may have been true at one time but women seem less and less interested in settling down now as we have more options. So I don't think it holds true the way it used to. Not all women are sitting around hoping to marry.
I'd better find a guy! Mid 20's and don't like cats!
I like cats. Good thing too, dont think I am getting a guy any time soon.

I strongly disliked cats in my mid 20's. Adopted one at 34. At 37 I have three cats. I hope that no more show up.
