So I had a conference in Dallas on Friday and decided to stay here till Tuesday.

I met a woman working on a MBA program at UTD at a little pub by my hotel. We hit it off pretty quickly, like I've never really clicked with someone that quickly or naturally. We spent the whole weekend together and she did all the tourist crap in Dallas with me.

It was awesome considering the woman I was seeing for a few dates that seemingly went well just ghosted on me. I was kinda bummed about that so I decided to spend my weekend away from Colorado since all the resorts would be a **** show anyway.

I'd love to keep seeing her somehow but I've only known her a few days. Dallas seems to have a pretty awesome dating scene! I'm really bummed to be flying back tomorrow.

Anyone ever met someone while traveling that turned into anything?

All the women Ive met and hooked up with on trips have only lasted the duration I was there. I'm really not inclined to get emotionally involve with women during business trips. When I'm out on business, its strictly about business, and the women I meet....well, its just part of business

Marshall, anything could happen at this point and if you guys are both so inclined you can make it work. Gosh some poster on this forum met a woman in Sweden (he's from the states) and they got married, so yes, if it's meant to be you can make it work.

My friend met a guy in Vegas one weekend, he was a fishing boat captain in Florida and she was a DC executive. They had super chemistry and after a 5 year LDR they got married, that was about 15 years ago.

When you click, you click!

Tell her how much you enjoyed her company (felt natural) and that you'd like to stay in touch. Dallas isn't that far from Vail (once you get to Denver). You have absolutely nothing to lose.

Good luck.

Haha nice, I travel quite often for work and might have to go to Dallas soon. Maybe I'll be lucky as you and click with someone there.. have to go near the UTD area too.

But to answer your question,.. no, never met anyone on any business trips.

This is funny, because my single brother lived in Dallas for years and now has lived in Denver for years. He likes the dating scene in Denver better, but he is also very outdoorsy and fit, so he meets more like-minded women in Colorado.

I have a friend who lives in Virginia and is seeing a guy in Texas who she met on a plane several months ago.

I moved from the DC area to LA almost 10 years ago, then met a guy in Maryland when I was back home for Xmas. We carried on a LDR for several months (Baltimore-LA). Ultimately it didn't work out, but that was not because of the distance.

Good luck!

I've been to Spain/Thailand/Greece on holidays and various weekends away both in the UK and Europe with the boys and done the same

One I met in Ibiza was only about 20 minutes away from where I live so we had an extended fling.

Hope you get to see her again

Big difference between Denver and Vail. Haha

I'll just keep in touch and see where it goes. She's 30 year old Asian woman that's funny, down to earth and smart! She also doesn't want kids and loves to be active. I couldn't see myself enjoying life in Dallas. Too flat and boring for my tastes, she's definitely a city girl though.

Thanks everyone!
