Why do people post their text conversations here, for approval or comment? It's like wading through a dang soap opera. And btw, those are supposed to be private, not posted to the world.

OP,

I struggle to understand the basic grammar/syntax of most of what you wrote.

Nevertheless, I think you should have just left things as they were and not have replied to her. I often times think that when people break up, what's usually said after the break up is said in anger and resentment.

But, does having the last word really mean anything, honestly?

Most of the time, the best thing to do is to just remain silent. That in and of itself, speaks volumes.

Way way way way too much text and if it were me, I wouldn't even dignify that smarmy condescending platitude (hers, I mean) with a reply.

She can go pray for someone else, I'm too busy being over it and having fun. (Well, "he" in my case.)

But even if I were to reply, it might be with one sentence. That wall of text you wrote is just cementing her feeling sorry for you and feeling like you're lacking in some way. Are you kidding...to hell with that!
