If you came up to me, somebody I didn't know, and gave me a compliment and asked me for a date, I would think you are whack. I prefer to get to know someone well, and empty compliments don't do it for me, nor most mature women.


Maybe you could try that tactic with some younger empty-headed chick who thinks getting back-handed compliments is all that.

It might mean that.

It might also mean that she was raised to automatically say "thank you" when someone compliments here. Even immature people can have good manners.

So ... it's up to you to figure out if your number-one requirement is that a woman accepts your compliments. You might also consider trying new methods of getting to know people.
