I'm a 26 yo male and I've never been on a date, and I've never had a girlfriend. I don't even have any friends. Sometimes I feel kind of sad because of this. It sucks knowing I'll never find love because I'm so darn socially awkward. I just don't know what to do. I've recently been trying to be more social after many years of complete isolation, but I'm getting no where. I mean I have a decent paying job, and Ive also been going to the gym alot recently and bulking up, but I feel it's for nothing.
Does anyone else feel this hopeless? I feel socially awkward guys are screwed for life in love.
It's understandable to feel this way but the one huge positive to take from this is you are trying to change it .
Personally I'd stick out in the gym, it WILL increase your appearance and above all your confidence, then I'm certain things will happen for you mate.
Have you got work colleagues that you can socialise with? For example go out for a drink or 2 after work and perhaps meet a friend of theirs etc?.
No girlfriend until about 27 for me as well. Yep pretty sad.
Wrong! Life is not a race to see who can have a relationship the earliest. It happened for you when it happened. The fact that you think that is sad, is more sad.

No, the older is the saddest, I didn't know this other guy personally but I know of a guy who didn't get his first girlfriend until 33, they got married and had a family, I know of him through an Australian Dating Coach, 33 is very sad and pathetic, he missed out on his sexual prime, peak libido years
