If she's resentful of being asked to multitask at work, the level or multitasking inherent in caregiver for a baby and a toddler while also balancing al the duties of running a household singlehandedly is probably not in her skill set, either. Tending full-time to small children while running a tight ship as far as housework, errands, meal prep, etc. simultaneously is a diverse array of responsibilities, and time consuming as well.

I had a similar epiphany with my wife. If she can't even manage an easy retail job, how could she ever handle owning a home, or being 100% in our marriage in the long run?
Your wife doesn't really want to work. Or at least not enough to overcome the typical workplace pettiness and politics. I think in lower-paying jobs it is even worse because people almost view the drama as "entertainment" to make up for bad working conditions!

Reminds me of when I was younger, and co-workers who were moms used to say that they came to work to get a break. I didn't understand it then ("Don't kids just play or watch TV while you run the vacuum and throw on a load of laundry? What the hell else is there to do all day?"), but I sure do now, lol.
well obviously she's unemployed and he's working ...she is the mother so she might as well just stay home and raise the kids instead of paying for a sitter since she cant seem to keep a job anyways
