In an ideal world, it would be great if you could go into a nice restaurant, see a solo woman, and ask her to join you, or vice versa. In actuality, few women dine alone. But if you have a nice neighborhood place with a bar, you might find some regular who might join you for dinner.

If it's an on-going wish, not just for one night, look for a dining club.
