What could be more effective in terms of "spinning it around" than straight up asking her out? Now, could someone help me unroll my eyeballs? I'm beginning to dislike seeing my eye sockets.
I agree, just bolting up to her and putting it on her is the complete opposite
However could you imagine if she turned around and said " not so fast you're too hasty and direct "....

You've already talked to her. There's no need to "start up again." Just ask her out. You only want to "start up again" because you are afraid of rejection

That's your fear of rejection. Ask her out. You've already been given ideas on how to ask her even if she's surrounded by a ton of people. Stop rationalizing.
If she says yes, congrats to your first date. If she says no, congrats on your first step toward overcoming your fear.
