If it was a family member of yours, would you mind? I know a woman like this. She's in her late forties and she is currently dating this younger guy. She LOVES him. She feels energized by him. It doesn't hurt either that he is dapper.

It's not typical but it happens. Honestly, it would depend on if it were my mother, my son or my daughter.

As a mom, I would not be thrilled about it, but people who are supposed to be adults have to be adult about stuff.

Wait, he's DAPPER ... ???!!!

It's no one's business what these grown adults do. I've made no bones about not being a fan of big age gaps but whatever,my opinion doesn't mean diddly squat.

I would not date a woman in her 40's because my mother is 41. I like older women but that's too old.

Why would anyone but those involved in the relationship *have* to accept it? If the couple is happy no one else should have an opinion that matters. If anyone else does not accept it that is their issue and has nothing to do with the couple.

Accept it? That's not my choice nor my decision. I'm not the woman or the man. Their love life is up to them.
