I actually think that. Women who usually approach men give off a manly vibe and I'm not interested in that. Again, that's just me and me alone with this opinion.
I have never had that experience. Nothing more attractive in my opinion than a woman that is willing to put herself out there to show her interest.
Not much different than a woman sending the first email in online dating.
A smile and hello goes a long way.
Ladies, If someone calls you manly for initiating conversation and showing interest than oh well.
It's their loss.

This was indeed one of the candidate reasons that I thought of. The city is quite small and you have almost no public places where people may chill like parks. Summer is coming though and probably more and more people will sit under trees to chill and many of them may not get courses for summer, so I guess that this would be an opportunity to engage in conversation where women might be willing to talk.
In fact, I already got the phone number of one girl, and she was quite responsive and welcoming to talk to me. I do not flood her with messages or calls though.

So exactly what help do you really need?
Right now I can talk to more than 80% of women I am interested in should I wish to do so. But it does not seem that I get the attraction to the level that I hoped. Among all women that I approached, around 7 were so nice to me, 3 treated me well, 15 were just neutral, and 3 were rude.
What I want right now is to know: 1. how to tell if a woman is willing to talk, and 2. how to increase the attraction level that I get.
I would say at least 25 percent of the time when a woman says I have boyfriend she is either lying to get you to leave her alone or she's just trying to test you to see if you go after what you want no matter what
