It's wonderful the way we don't see each other's skins .We just get along.I'm also from the caribbean where mixing is no big deal people hardly even notice.America needs to hurry and get on the boat.Slavery ended way too long ago for black men to still be troubled by their black brothers and sisters who attain love outside of the race.The same goes for our white people grow up.People are simply that ...people.They are either sexy or they're not.

I'm not offended by persons who would like to preserve their race.More power to you .Go marry a white person or for the blacks , go marry a black person.That's ok.But let me tell you , please do not set your heart on your grandchildren doing the same thing .As i said , in the end it all boils down to the person you find sexy.The person your grandkids find true love in may be of another race.I hope you'll be on your meds because a heart attack will sure follow when they bring them home to you.Make your choice my brother but ensure that your motives have no racism behind it.You also have the right to believe what you chose to believe.We are all one people ,please remember that.

I'm white and orig. from Tampa, FL. I've been dating black girls since I was about 16 y/o.

My wife is black and orig. from Houma, LA. She says she dated pretty much all white guys until she got married to a black guy. They got divorced, We met in Tennessee and got married.

It's come a LONG way just in the last 10-15 years. There will ALWAYS be people that don't care for it or just downright will hate you for it. I've done ALOT of traveling in my short life and believe it or not, I've noticed that West of the Mississippi and North of Tennessee/North Carolina borders it tends to be LESS accepted then it is in the traditional " Deep South " The South gets a bad rap when it comes to race and interracial relationships. Obviously I don't have any official numbers or anything but if I had to guess I'd say that probably 65-70% of all interracial relationships occur in the south.

Good luck and congrats to anyone that's in an interracial relationship. Just remember, people often hate what they don't know or understand.
