Yeah sure, there are strict dads out there. But are they also trawling the manosphere at the same time?
I pretty much stayed single in between relationships until someone that was appealing asked me out. I have always been pretty content, regardless of whether I was single or in a relationship. None of my relationships ever started in a night club though.
I expect if I had never been asked out I would have just continued being single, since I tend to go with the flow a little more than I should.
What would women do to attract a man, if men by and large didn't approach them? Would they develop game / pua skills like men do, or would they simply wait for someone to eventually come and approach them?
The reason why I ask is because I don't let my daughter go to nightclubs, as there's too much promiscuity in that scene.
Also, why is there so much criticism of the pua community?
If they quit approaching me, I would approach them.

*I* would have continued doing my thing and approached men. Since being approached in-person never resulted in a date, because that's not my M.O. or preferred way to meet potential dates, it was a non-issue. In the context of online dating, I'd do just fine seeing as I did a lot of "approaching."
I wouldn't call it "game," but I knew how to attract my type, any type, really, gain their interest, and invite fun, witty conversation. So even if it were all on me, I still would have done well in this medium.

Men will always approach women. And one of the reasons the "PUA community" is criticized is the reason why you won't allow your daughter go to nightclubs. With that said, how is it you're in a position to allow/not allow your daughter go to a nightclub? Most places are 18+ and if there is alcohol served, probably 21+.

They'd have to initiate a bit more and use more of the female 'game' to entice men. The female game is charm.
They would approach men, plain and simple. I know this from experience on a cruise. A lot of cruises have 3 times as many single women as single men. (Probably due to the stereotype of cruises being frou-frou, which was nothing like that.) As a result, women started conversations with me semi-randomly around the ship, agreed to dance with me 9 out of 10 times I asked, were very physical with their flirting, and showed minimal resistance when I escalated things. It was a reversal of the millions-years-old human sexual selection process. Felt pretty good, I tell ya what.
