"Valentines Day is nothing but a Hallmark holiday"

Might sound trivial for that to be a dealbreaker, but I think it's indicative of a larger incompatible view on how to be in a romantic relationship.

I'm not fussed if honest but if I'm with someone that loves and appreciates it then I'll make the effort

Isn't it though? I personally hate how commercialized it is. A small gesture like, "Happy Valentines." Or taking a special moment to spend together is enough for me. I do not need flowers, cards, or an expensive dinner to appreciate, or be appreciated. Nor do I expect the commercialized tokens.

This. I mean, I "get" it and agree in part, but ****, I still like these holidays and happily participate. We're not into going all out, but a nice dinner, exchanging cards and chocolates, why not?

The same can be said about all sorts of celebrations and holidays. *shrug*

Just some small stuff. No need for a lengthy list, and some stuff is obvious anyhow, thus it needs to mention -like abuse, racism, dehumanization of certain groups, STDs, for example.

She refers to her boobs as her "girls". Sooo low class.
I hate that, too! I don't think it's necessarily low class, but I think it's just a stupid, overly-used expression (no offense, Oprah!). Same with "aha moment."
