I'm expecting to get a less-than-straight answer here, but who's idea was it to the approach the ex? Yours or your daughter's?
Daughter wanted to speak to him. She went first. I followed her. At first him and I were speaking from across the room. But I decided that no one else needed to hear the entire conversation so I walked around to his side of the room.

He seems to be doing better. He stopped asking if I would chase him when I explained that I won't. And I made it clear not to go through my stuff. He said he was going to get therapy for his trust issues.
And you bought that? Guys never go to therapy...even WITH a woman, much less on their own.

So you dated your ex-husband in your teens and 20's and then married him when you were 24, or are there two ex-husbands - one from your teens and one at 24?

I have had several guys go to therapy. Didn't help them be better people, but they went.
