If you dated someone who lived 70 miles (1hr 10 min) away would you consider that a significant impediment to starting a relationship with them?
What are your thoughts on this particular distance affecting the outcome of the early stages of a relationship?
As for myself, while its certainly farther than the optimum distance, I would not consider it anything major as long as I had a reliable vehicle, but I'd love to hear what others think.

Thanks
For me it would be too far because driving gives me anxiety.

If it were a weekend relationship, I'd be fine with it. If they are expecting me to battle Washington DC traffic during a weekday when I already have a 45 minute commute? Hell no!
It depends on the direction. 70 miles northeast puts me deep inside Canadian soil. Regular border crossing can be a pain. 70 miles west is ok though.
I don't know, I've had way more fun than anything experienced stateside during my two cross border
STR romps, just saying... and hassle? Not anymore hassle than a toll booth would be.
