I managed to get some welding done for my pickup. Fog light brackets. It was 41 degrees in the garage. Thank heavens for insulation and a little heater. I'm going to up the ante and put a gas heater in there.
Yeah, the new gig I wanted isn't panning out like I thought it would. The job websites haven't had too many listing and half the listing I do see all require too much travel.
I'm going to have to make some tough choices in Jan. We'll see.
41 degrees in the garage is pretty nippy. How do you get the diesel to start up?? I guess they have heaters or something in them I think.
Be sure to vent the gas heater or you'll punch your card a little quicker than expected.
I haven't been here for several days. A handyman fixed my furnace and had to "re-build" my 70 year-old-bathtub faucet rather than tear everything out to replace it. I had the heat cranked up to 70 degrees for a couple days (to make up for the 44 degrees on the last day). LOL. The problem with my furnace was a tube or rod that (I believe) he called a heat sensor. He said they can get corroded or just dirty. He cleaned it, and it was just that simple.
So the moral or the story is to keep your rod clean so that it works better. BAHA, HA, HA
This weekend showed me that I really am NOT a party person at all.
My mom threw her annual Christmas party yesterday, I had a few friends over but we all ended up leaving. It was so LOUD because she got a DJ, and I cannot for the life of me understand why they had turned the music up so loud. We were inside a HOUSE in a very quiet neighborhood. I ended up getting a headache. I left to go to a friends house, left and got home around 1:30. They were STILL partying with super loud music and a mini comedy show. I was so annoyed, I just wanted to go to sleep.
It's kind of odd, because usually the parents complain about the kids staying out late, not the other way around.

I've had a fever since Sat.morning.......it effen sucks..... plus side I'm not eating.....
Sorry to hear that. Drink lots of water and lay around taking it easy. Should try and get a little food in you. That really does help shorten colds and the flu. Liquids and rest are the biggies.
