Thanks for the warning. It crossed my mind. So what I ended up doing is looking up "emergency housing" in that state. I found a website that has a lot of info and phone numbers. I passed that along in the hopes that it will help over the weekend.

On a lighter note: Hi, LC!!! Good to have you stopping in.

I was really more upset because it was meant to be a gift for my husband and I was excited to give it to him. Oh well, better luck next time.
We have been buying from Amazon for about 10 years, without any problems. It sounds like you had the bad luck of being connected to a "poor excuse of a customer service rep". There are a few bad apples in every barrel, it seems. ... The folks i have talked to in 'Customer Service', bend over backwards trying to make sure we are happy with their service.

I think i would have called again until i was able to talk to a CS rep, who was willing to help me. Or i would ask to speak to a Supervisor.

I'm sorry you had to put up with such bad customer service, Butterflyfish.

Have a Beautiful weekend...

I mean I'm hammered, which I don't get to do very often, so I'm not that civilized.

I do, however, need to pee.
