My husband and I got married 8 months ago after dating four years and everything has been going great except there is one thing that bothers me, he doesn't wear his wedding ring. I have asked him why and he just says he doesn't like wearing rings or any jewelry.

Could there be something more or am I being unreasonable being upset about this?

Hubby is a baller!!!

Just kidding. I'm not a huge fan of jewelry myself, I don't wear any at all. I think it could be a simple as that. It doesn't automatically mean he's looking to score chicks on the side.

I know we had a big thread dedicated to this topic, that everyone weighed in on, as to suggesting legit reasons guys prefer not to wear their wedding ring. You could probably find it by doing a search, OP.
Oops--Suburban Guy beat me to it. Well there you go, OP. You could always try leaving yours off, and see if he notices, then take things from there.

My husband took his ring off while he was working shortly after we married. He worked in electronics. I would rather have a live husband without a ring than a dead one wearing one. I don't wear my wedding or engagement ring either. I keep it in our safety deposit box. I have a collection of more than 30 rings of different stones and I rotate them according to my social life.

I'm female and I don't wear my wedding ring around the house as it isn't comfortable. Especially if your husband is the type of person who is sensitive to collar tags, etc., he may just have a more sensitive body and just doesn't like the feel of it. I would give it a pass. If there is trouble, you will see it in other places.

Yep, we have an electrician in the family and he doesn't wear a ring either. I'm not an electrician but I have to work with and around electricity and yeah, it's something to be careful.

Gold and silver conducts electricity, if you got metal on your body and you touch a live circuit and if you're grounded you can wake up dead, if you know what I mean here.

Eh, doesn't bother me. I can't even count the number of times the Mr. has misplaced his ring; at some point I nixed the idea of replacing it again. Besides, a wedding ring is not a force field against cheating. If anything, it attracts a different kind of woman.

I hated wearing mine when I was married. I'm with others in that I just don't wear jewelry.
