Before I totaled my favorite vehicle, women and crowds of people would cat call me and cheer. Some women even asked for a ride or if it was a group of guys and girls, they would ask if I wanted her. It was a car people wanted to be seen in. Women were proud to leave the bar/club with me when I parked right outside on the curb.

Club owners would even cordon off the space in front of their club because having a flashy car with aftermarket LEDs and such drew in business.

When I drive my busted up winter beater, no one gives it a second look even though I keep it clean 24/7.
What's your favorite vehicle?

I guess on some level it has an influence, even if superficially. Personally, one of my turn-offs is conspicuous consumption and flashiness, so a new luxury or fancy sports car would not impress me in the slightest. Then again, maybe he's borrowing it from a buddy becsuse his mud-covered Bronco or Subaru or something is down for repairs. I don't know, but yeah, I might initially be less inclined than if he showed up with said rugged, mud-covered vehicle in the the first place. Something vintage? Yes, please.

I couldn't care less about the car I drive as long as it gets me from point A to point B and doesn't cost much to maintain. I actually hardly ever drive it as I either walk or use public transportation. I prefer to invest my money in real estate or 401K/stocks for retirement or spend it on travel and other hobbies. I've never been with a woman who placed a lot of value on what kind of car I drive, and never would.

Lol, young man, come on now, I drive a brand new 2016 Super Street Camaro, six speed I built it on line, yes, the color is called, "Red Hott" everything hands free but the 9" steering wheel. I can tell you this, I've been wanting a LT1 engine and body that made the Corvette famous since dirt was invented, because I wanted her and for no other reason, blasting that baby on early morning impresses me and no other. Sure people dig my car but that's not why I bought it, it's because I wanted her and for no other reason. Shoot, only my son sat in her since I had her and that was Feb, Cars don't make the man. lol..

See Im just the opposite. Give me a guy with a rugged, mud-covered 4X4 because I always have chit to haul and I enjoy mudding and other off road adventures.

I don't measure a persons worth on what they drive. Their attitude and what kind of person they are is more important.

I agree with you on this one. The car has to be clean and not SMELL inside. If it smells like the inside of an old shoe then I don't even want to get in. (I wouldn't get in if it was saran wrapped in plastic either though.)

I'm with you on this. I dig a guy who actually uses a vehicle like this for its intended purpose.

Women don't know much about models, but they know the names, BMW, Porsche, Ferarri, etc. If it looks very clean and shiny, they'll assume its new or almost new even if its 10 years old. So whatever you buy, keep it especially clean and shined. Also, if it sounds cool/fast, that is important too. If it sounds like a Honda Civic, not good.
So true. But now I have to go back to the kitchen and do what women are supposed to do

Which year are you living in?
