Those are two completely different statements with different meanings.
How do you know that him smiling looks like a predatory vibe to her? Somethings look different for people.

Yeah, it's actually happened a couple of times on this very board when we've asked a guy who says that he approaches and women aren't into him or that women just aren't responsive at all exactly what he says and how he says it. It's not unusual that they do or say something completely awkward or strange that your average woman in public would never respond favorably to. Just being friendly and smiling isn't necessarily offputting.

Yeah exactly mate ..... Why fester on something you haven't got when you could concentrate on what you have got and can use

How do ugly men get beautiful women?...... Charm, personality, sense of humour etc etc ...

She didn't say that it did. Read what she said, not what you want to read.

So if the person is giving off what she is interpreting as a weird or predatory vibe, she won't response favorably. So don't do that. Be chill. Don't be like a lion stalking a wildebeest.

Maybe what he doesn't have is the reason he's still single, like I said personality means nothing if they don't like the way you look and thacomes from experience.

Exactly. And the way they demonstrate that charm, personality, and sense of humor is to be in situations that allow women to get to know them in a non-threatening manner.

Personality often trumps looks.

That sounds like sitting around waiting to get lucky, at least for the op.

Is that a fact? Lets ask the op do you think it's your personality or looks that is holding you back.

Exactly, thank you. Was simply reasoning why I may or may not even pay any mind to a random man out in public. Not everyone's a threat... But as a woman, you can't be too careful. I've had overly eager and aggressive weirdos try to holler, harass, and intimidate me. I've had cars circle around and follow me. I don't have time to be murdered by some psycho!
