I'm avoiding dating or expressing interests in women who are Hillary supports and I noticed a FWB drift away after she found out I went to a Tump rally. Then I had two other ice breakers dates where political compatibility topic came up right away ("If you support Hillary it's going to be a problem" she said).
Yup. Which is why I make sure very early on that a potential partner has similar political views to my own, and I don't discuss politics with friends and acquaintances. IME, nothing good ever comes from it.
While I am in no way dating or looking I can say this is something that affects everyday life anymore.
Everyone seems to care a little too much about what they feel is right and what others think.
It's an insanely odd thing to me, it's not natural to care that much about "what side" you are on where I came from.
You just believe what you feel is right and move on with life

Is this happening to you too?
Nope, I have zero tolerance for those who believe politics is the most important aspect of who I am.
Trump vs Clinton to me is not just politics - it's about ideals and values. I could never date a Trump supporter, and thankfully, out here on the West Coast, I don't run into many of them in my dating age bracket. As in, none.
