Do Married People Start to Look Like Each Other?
A lot of people and their dog look alike. Same concept.
My wife and I are different races but people tell us we look "right" together, like you can tell we're a couple from looking at us even though we're very different appearing individuals.
Do coupled/married people begin to resemble each other after years together?

Yes, they do. Many look alike to begin with. I've seen couples looking like siblings. We peeps tend to like ourselves which results in liking others looking like us!  I've got a coworker whose girlfriend looks like him even though she is of a different race! I've seen a book on the subject, so I'm not alone in my belief. Many also find attractive people looking like their opposite-sex parent whom they might or might not have taken after. We all have issues...  |

Bummer for the lady that marries an a-hole!
Seriously...I have heard partners do tend to look similar. In my case...I hope I look more like her than her like me. She's much better looking than I am!

yes they do when they start wearing matching shirts or matching jackets or matching blankets at sporting events.

I was with a woman for 5 years and we looked alike from the get-go, like sisters everyone said, even though there was a 16-year age difference between us. Even her mother got us mixed up, called her own daughter by my name. I thought it was absolutely hysterical, the neighbors got us mixed up. And then we broke up and her mother kept calling her by my name, it was sooooo funny.

Oh my god I hope not for my wifes sake. Id hate to look over and see "myself" in bed next to me.
My wife and I are of different races as well and people keep telling us that we look like we could be brother and sister or same as you, that we look "right" together. She's a Sophie Marceau/Catherine Zeta Jones/Jennifer Garner type and I, well....I get people telling me I look like baseball player Alex Rodriguez or "The Rock". |
