When you see one either in passing or random, bolt up to her out of the blue and say " Well playing hard to get doesn't usually work with me but as its you.... Can I buy you a drink? " ... LMAO!

Corny/cheesy lines will NEVER work unless they find it humorous and you can make them laugh, think of a comedian.... They can say the most stupid and bland thing possible but with the right timing, facial expressions and body language they will have you on the floor in stitches!

I've always had the opinion that If you can make a lady laugh then you're in with half a chance....

Yes that's naturally good.... Unless you come across as fake and not genuine

I've just noticed you are 16!.... You'll learn a HELL of a lot mate in the next year or 2 I'm certain just by mingling and socialising with friends

OK then. It's both simple and complicated at the same time. Here are the steps when you are 16.

1. Regularly hang out with one or more groups of people that has both boys and girls.
2. Become friendly with a bunch of girls in these groups.
3. Start to notice which girls you like.
4. Pay attention to the ones you like that also seem to like you back.
5. Flirt and play around more with the ones you like.
6. Start texting them more often also.
7. Get a little bit flirty with your texts.
8. In person, sit closer to them and talk to them more than the others.
9. Start to get slightly more touchy-feely (nothing over the top, just playful) with the ones you like.
10. Pay attention to the ones who respond to these overtures in positive ways.
11. Find situations where you can be "alone in the group" and sit closer with them.
12. Eventually, you will get the feeling that one of them really likes you and you really like her. That's the one that will probably be your girlfriend.

At least that's the gist how most of the boys in my daughters' realms operate in terms of getting girlfriends.

Use texting your advantage. It has revolutionized getting together for teens.
