This statement can be taken many ways depending on why and who is saying it, but if someone is telling you about their "bad" experiences only one thing is constant...they desire whatever their idea of a "good one" is.
....it just maybe is not with you or a warning that they themselves know they are not ready to be a good partner in return.
I'll admit to having used that line before, but it was the truth......I honestly had just gotten out of a "bad" relationship.
