Hmmm... I think, it DID happen that I went to a restroom and never came back...
But I am sure, the date was just really absolutely unacceptable, and this was the only way out.
Yes. If someone massively misrepresents themselves I'm gone.
I used online dating before, at one point gained like 50 lbs and wasn't putting up old photos even though I would have gotten a lot more responses. Fortunately I lost and have kept all that weight off.

Yup, I did this too. The guy kept shoving me and smacking my arm. He thought he was being funny, I guess. Plus, the dude had this ridiculous beret on his head and kept tipping it in this bizarre animated way. It was just stupid! I went to the restroom and straight out the back door. Bubeye!
Would you turn around and leave a blind date within minutes if they looked absolutely nothing like their photos and you were immediately turned off by multiple mannerisms?
I would have made it clear in my profile that if either of us were misled by info or pics, then the first meeting would be very very short. In fact, after I started using OLD, I stated that in my profile. I never had a problem with it after that.
This guy was polite enough and we chatted for 45 minutes, but I felt relief and so safe after I was in my car with the doors locked. My gut nagged at me to leave much sooner, but didn't want to be rude.
If you felt unsafe, you should've listened to your gut and left. Women have been assaulted and murdered because they were worried about being "rude" instead of listening to their gut instincts.

This more for women than men, because it's almost always a man attacking a woman physically - if someone gives you the creeps, if subliminally you want to get away from them - this is your subliminal mind picking up patterns it recognizes as trouble. The same as with a house, or a car, if there is something you don't like about a guy, even though you can't articulate it, go with your "gut" every time.
Well, I never have, it's never been THAT bad. If the person said something literally flat-out offensive, say called someone by a racial epithet or swore at the waitress or something, I probably would. But nothing that drastic ever happened to me.
I had a man look about 20 years older than his photo (no exaggeration) right down to him having absolutely no grey in his picture but being nearly entirely grey in person, as well as very obviously being about 30 lbs. heavier, but I didn't get angry, I just felt bad for him. He obviously wished he still looked like his own younger version and I cut him a break. I certainly didn't cut the date short.
That is the reason that blind dates are done in very public places and for something short like meeting for coffee. There is no reason to have bad manners. Drink your cup of coffee, chat politely, and then take your leave. You dont have to marry the person and people around you aren't assuming you are a loser for sleeping with someone old or fat.
You can even be polite when you say that you don't think it will work when they ask for a second date.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh...kaaaaaaaaaaay....that's just freaky. I'd have had to leave, personally.
