They come into play naturally but I'm sure you or anyone else would rather and be much more inclined to pop over and say hello to someone that's enjoying themselves and seems quite fun compared to the opposite?

Then once she's there she can suss out his other qualities

Nice; don't like that word. I like kind better.
Smart; It is important.
Stable: Very important. Not good to be with a headcase.

They'd at least be curious

The miserably constipated look does not suit many people that's for sure.

Ironically while some of the happier people are seen as not as bright, they could actually be every bit as bright as the less happy individuals. Just like miserable people can be every bit as ignorant and mental.

Nice here can mean two things this side of the pond.... first is obviously kind and second a " oh he's nice " meaning he's attractive

But on CD " nice " seems a dreaded word unfortunately LOL

I would like either. I have dated both.
That's why I don't understand why many guys don't get dates.

Even my weird azz can.

That is an astute observation, and the fact that you used the word 'people' instead of just referring to men or just women, as if there's a huge difference --shows which category you belong in.

(not mental ).

LMAO

Never heard that saying before ... Happier people are less bright. .... Maybe it's just because they haven't got the arrogance or the need to show off how bright they are compared to arrogant people that ironically I usually find are quite miserable
